A linear increase in difficulty. I think I might have thought about that a couple of times. But a balance in difficulty can be hard to maintain. Probably because what I see in the difficulty could be perceived by someone else a different way. But overall, I try to keep it around medium. That way, either novice or expert can both enjoy playing. As for particles not appearing, I think that would be the same as sounds not playing when reloading a save. I found that the sound file is saying "you need to turn me off before you can turn me back on" even though it's already off. It needs both command inputs. Particles might be the same but I never looked into it.

Honestly, this Map is good, but it has many flaws:

For Puzzle 1, the Cube Launcher launches its cube ridiculously fast and its particles don't appear again after loading a save and the Puzzle can (presumably) be solved unintentionally

Puzzles 3 and 4 become increadibly easy all of a sudden compared to previous Puzzles (especially Parts 4 and 5, dear god) and the Moving Platform in Puzzle 4 kills you if you touch its Sides as it's moving up.

One of Puzzle 6's blue gel spawns is a nice idea, but does not work visually at all. Along with that just before said puzzle, there's is a sound that is slightly misplaced.

Other than that, it's pretty okay.
The Ending is pretty creative and I like it a lot actually.
The Puzzles (of all Parts) are a neat idea and can provite a unique challange, but the difficulty balance needs to be changed a lot, to say the least. At least if the difficulty should linearly increase, just like how it does in the base game.

Wow, this map is amazing! How can one person create such a detailed series of maps? The maps I usually play have 2-3 parts, but this one keeps going—3, 4, 5 parts, and more! It's awesome. Thank you for creating this chamber for us

Great ending for this series! I got stumped at some points. brain fried but i feel very accomplished after this puzzle! :D
