After Realizing that there are extremely dangerous creatures on this planet, the engineers made a little hospital as quick as they can.

With this hospital up and running, they hunted down that Blue-Tipped Stinger and managed to sneak up on in and restrain it and then found a way to kill it by destroying all of those cold producing parts on the creatures.

They later put it on the hospital and began experimenting on it. They found out that they are very hot on the inside and and seem have no blood or any need for oxygen. They also found out that their skin seems to absorb light and are able to detect it.

They did more tests and probing and found out that they pretty much have no organs and rely on heat only to produce their food like a plant of some sorts. And there are these veins that haves no blood.

The researched more into this creature and came up with the theory that maybe these cold parts of the body actually suck up the heat around. They would confirm this by see what looks like little hearts at the base of these cold parts.

They also seem to be unable to hear.

But now knowing that the heat is how they survive and they can detect light, they brought out the night vision goggles that they packed, they are also all relieved about the fact that they can't hear at all.
