As they expand their base, they decided to send out another exploration team.

The Team went quite some ways until coming across a light in a opening of the forest and found a river of lava with this creature next to it drinking it up with this bizarre mouth.

While observing from a distance, a group of those Blue-Tipped Stingers showed up and went to attack the creature but it grabbed them and shot this beam out of it's tail. They noticed none of the creatures scream or roar. The stinger eventually stopped struggling and seemed to have died from that beam. The rest of the Blue tipped stingers also shoot that same beam out as the creature but it knocked them down and chased them down to devour their heat.

They noticed that it seems to slowly swallow the lava that is in it's mouth to keep it's insides warm. The humans left it alone and continued following along the path of the Lava river.

Due too it's seemingly aggressive behavior and it's ability to suck the heat right out of the creatures very easily. They named it the "Hunter."
