As the exploration team went around the lake they decided to sit down and warm up their rations with them using the heat of the lava and sit down and eat.

As they sat there they saw this huge creature come up next to them and drink the lava. They freak out by it's bizarre proportions and the seemingly floating tentacles on it's back.

They watch as the creature drinks up the lava until it is attacked by this equally as large creature that haves this glowing red thing on it's head and haves it's arms folded like a praying mantis. It was very aggressive and attacked the creature but the creature knocked down this thing and used it's tail to suck the heat from it and kill it. After this happened the creature proceeded to jump into the lake of lava and swim to the other side and get away.

Due to the bizarre appearance of this creature, they named it the "Abomination"
