Description
NOTES:
This ship is real
This was made using a photo of her in 1882, so the model is how she appeared in 1882 and not 1873.
This NEEDS infinite electricity, it is a must.
Controls on the helm
Spawns at the LARGE oil rig
The USMS Gaelic was laid down in 1870 for the Bibby Line, along with her sister ship. However, both were sold as partially finished hulls and the SS 80 and SS 81 were named SS Gaelic and SS Belgic. The Gaelic entered service for the White Star Line on January 29th 1873 and Belgic on April 16th 1873. Both ships sailed from Liverpool to Valparasio in South America on their maiden voyages. They soon were transferred to Liverpool to New York, and were considered surplus. By 1875, White Star had too many ships, Republic of 1872 was already seen as unneeded, and RMS Germanic and Britannic's service only worsened this. Desperate to put use to some of these ships, the Gaelic and Belgic were chartered to the Occidental and Oriental steamship company. The Gaelic, Belgic and Oceanic's charter began May 29th 1875 and was intended to end in 1880. However, the contract was extended to 8 years, so Gaelic and Belgic still served for the O&O line up until mid 1883. Both were sold to the Spanish line La Flecha Navigation Company (Cia. de Navegación la Flecha). Belgic was renamed to Goefredo, but grounded January 27th 1884. She was repaired, and while departing for the voyage after that she struck a mudbank on the Mersey and eventually broke apart. Gaelic, however, lasted longer. She had a calm career between 1883 and 1895, but this was disrupted in September 1896 when she ran aground. The 23 year old steamship was deemed a total loss, and she was refloated to be scrapped in Amsterdam.

Many thanks to my great friend Liam for helping make sure this is accurate, as well as adding some details and tweaking some issues, send much support to him!
Also a huge helper Brendan Kolo (AKA Artistics_) for providing a passenger account, mentioning the layout of this forgotten and beautiful vessel!

In case y'all to lazy to read Alex's comment. Lemme summarize it. Gaelic delivers mail for the US, and is a Steamship. Hence, she's both a USMS and SS. Now shush.
