Masked Mustachio's Kostaltyn Reskin

Description
I don't like what Kostaltyn looks like. I don't like his over sized mace and I don't like his hair and face. I also don't like how similar he looks to normal Patriarchs. I get what CA was going with as far as a caricature of Rasputin but it doesn't work for me.

So I made this mod to make him look more like a Patriarch who can take care of his hair and beard and is also preparing for war. I basically wanted him to look like he threw some armor over his robes and went off to fight.

He is a mix of several models and you can see them all in the video if you want to watch how I made the mod.

I also changed his weapon to be a bit smaller scale and for him to hold it a little more like a weapon. The head is also changed to be a head from one of the 2h maces the Armored Kossars wield.

This should be save game compatible and also work with any mod that doesn't screw the in game models used for him.

The video is a recording of the modding process so that it might help people trying to get into modding.

You running the game while working on RPFM? Because that gives failed to saved.

Spent the last week or so worth of my spare time working on a skin. Just messing around making swords and stuff to try and use in the future but then it sudden stopped saving my work ( Fail save comes up)...... any suggestions?

It's fine. You should join the modder's discord channel as well (link in the video descriptions) and ask there if you want faster answers or answers to stuff I don't know. People usually respond fairly quickly there.

Depends on what you want to do. But if it is just a reskin like this one, start with one of the reskin mod videos. Also consider watching how to install RPFM and AssetEditor if you don't know how to install them. Honestly a lot of modding is not as hard as it would seem and you'll notice that if you watch a video or two of mine.

I wont lie i know next to nothing about setting up my own mod. do you have a recommendation on which video to start on?

If it strikes me as something I would like to do than I sometimes take requests. Thank you for asking me first though. Otherwise my other suggestion is for you to watch my videos on how I do my mods and make it exactly the way you want to as I generally have my styles that I like which don't always match up with how other people see stuff.
