Description
Ogres are known to be mercenaries right? Well here comes a mod that aims to improve upon just that notion. Ogre Tyrants and Bruisers are now recruitable Lord and Hero options for all Chaos races, which includes Monogods, Warriors of Chaos, Chaos Dwarfs, Norsca and Beastmen. Do you want to create partial or full Ogre mercenary armies in your Chaotic realms, led by Tyrants and Bruisers? Then combine this mod with things like the Allied/Mercenary Cap Remover and More Ogre Mercenaries and you can pretty soon have a full range of Ogres fighting for your cause. Now you have a reason to keep the Treehammers alive when playing as Skarbrand. Do note that the Tyrants and Bruisers you recruit keep their original skill trees, as they are regular tyrants simply unlocked for other factions, so they won't have anything specific to buff your own native troops, encouraging you thus to fill their armies with allied or mercenary ogres specifically. Also they follow the naming lists of the faction you're playing, just think of it as their way of blending in to your culture (you can just rename them if you want something else).

NOTE: You unlock recruitment of Bruisers from your main settlement building in all cases except for Changeling, who gets his bruisers from his mortal military building chain. Beastmen get their Bruisers both from Herdstones and the main horde building.

Hi! Would you be willing to do a version of this that only makes them recruitable to only Norseman?

Would be more thematic, with the barbarian thing going haha

Updating is happening for this and the Order one and at long last, Bruisers are becomming generally hireable too. Expect it sometime next week!

@Your Mother Probably because they are game 1/2 races. Better to wait for Immortal Empires for that.

do you know why it didnt work when I tried to add skaven and marauder lords using the same table?

I don't kwon if its a bug that it happens for me or not mention thing, but this mod makes Ogre Tyrant can be recruit by ALL factions. No matter if its empire, dwarfs or cathay and it makes hollariously anoying funny campain runs.

@Mortarch of Blood Not for this mod no, its kind of outside the intention of the mod. And besides, unlocking lords for different factions is a wholly different thing from actually going poking around modifying lords. Its amongst the more picky and difficult things to do in WH3 modding.

Are you planning on removing those at any point in future? Or will it remain the same? Problem is that it takes up space on lord selection - like 1 useful trait and then the food trait which is pretty much pointless in taking.
I'm not entirely sure how it could be removed, but I'll ask to see if it's an easy job or not

@Mortarch of Blood That's true, this is simply an unlocker of the Tyrant. Not a modifier. As stated above, its recommended to run other mercenary focused mods in order to get full mercenary armies. But they are still capable of leading Daemon armies all the same.
