explaination:
While looking through my old hard drives I found one that survived a flood in my family's home back in 2009! I was SHOCKED when I discovered it worked and it had some gmod maps my cousin made one summer. I had a blast playing the maps but a tree knocked out the power to my house and corrupted most of the maps. luckily three of the maps survived and I was happy to find out one of them was his most popular map that lots of servers used to play on. I hosted a little server for me my cousin and some of our friends to play on but every time his iconic map he would seem to get uneasy. he would be quiet while everyone had a great time then the worst thing happened. after all of our friends left, me and him stayed on the server a little longer. a NPC walked down the street I was amazed! my cousins' face turned ghastly white. When I saw that I knew something was wrong so I alt walked towards the NPC but it stopped when I got too close. I freaked out and fell out of my chair (I know im a scaredy cat but I was only 15) when I recovered I got back in my chair but the npc was gone. I turn around to look for it but I just see my cousins playermodle hanging from the tree by its feet. I just assume its him playing with me so I grab the model with my pys-gun and use it as a sling shot. I admit it was pretty fun. I miss dupes like that Anyways! after a few slings the model rips in half revealing hyper realistic organs. It shocked me I didn't think computers were powerful enough for that at the time! I must admit he is a amazing coder. at least that was what I thought... I turn to my left in real life to congragulate him on his expert coding skills but I see the worst. he is passed out (at least what I was hoping for) I rush over to him and see his monitor. the npc I saw earlier is looking at me through his monitor. I freak out and turn the monitor off and my cousin wakes up I ran back to my gaming pc and the npc is sitting in a bench almost mocking me. I got a good look at him this time. he was a old white dude wearing a blue suit and some slick glasses. I asked in the chat "what do you want" he didnt respond. I pick him up with my pys gun and he doesnt react. I started to walk around with him before my computer crashed in an ally way. when I launched the game back up I see his face on the graffit in the place where I crashed. I didnt touch my computer for weeks. but my cousin did.. he would only play on the computer making maps for gmod non stop only stopping to eat and sleep one. day when he was sleeping I take a peak into the map he was working on and it shocked me to my core... it was a nice house but all of the textures were just the graffiti of the old man even the weapons EVERYTHING then the worst thing that could happen happend. The old man NPC was behind me. I could hear him walking and snickering in the shadows I had enough of him torturing me and my family I open up the spawn menu and pull out a flame thrower and light him up. I was brutal..Those screams still haunt me... I watch not knowing if I did the right thing or not. when its over the npc is all charred his limbs missing. I uninstall gmod after I delete the cursed maps. I QUIT technology and after a month of not using and technology (even the tv I dont know how I survived so long without it) I boot up my now obsolete computer. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to recover the deleted maps to see if the NPC thing was real. when I finally recovered... well... whats left of it... only the texture of the graffiti was still intact It made me sick knowing what he did so I deside I need to clense my computer. took out the hard drive threw in into the basement. I wish I didnt find it.. When I found the hard drive last week and this map in it I came to the conclusion that None of the things I had rememberd were real and all of those illegal drugs I took were messing with my mind.
