USS Pathfinder - Akira Class Cruiser/Carrier v1.0

Introducing the Akira class cruiser, USS Pathfinder.

The Akira was originally designed as a carrier with a significant compliment of Photon Torpedos. With capacity for over 500 crew and pilots, the Akira's enourmous hangar through the entire primary hull carried wings of Peregrinne fighters to the front lines whilst offering fire support to the rest of the fleet.

This particular model doesn't have an interior yet. There are floors, but no quarters or other rooms. A lot of the ship doesn't have gravity yet... and only a couple of gyros so flying in a straight line is fine, turning is impossible.

There is a working warp drive, which is handy as the heavy armoured hangar floor has increased the weight to over 27,000,000 KG. There are no support craft yet.

Now I have to confess, I'm not the most artistic. I aimed at a 1:1 scale, and I think it is pretty close. It's not entirely accurate in terms design but this is the first attempt. Feel free to be critical or change/improve anything. I'm sure there is plenty to go at!
