Description
I personally didn't like how alchemists could only buff a single unit with their alchemy and it only lasted a couple volleys, it made the abilities feel kind of useless, at least Zhao Ming had an AoE for his. This mod changes it a bit giving alchemists a 35m AoE for all of their metallurgy skills and increases the buff duration to 30s with a 60s cooldown, pretty close to what Zhao Ming gives. To make him stand out, this increases the radius of Zhao Ming's buff from 35m > 50m, and increases the duration to 60s with a 90s cooldown as well as increasing all of the buffs by 15% to make him stand out as a true Master of Alchemy!

I have also removed the restriction to just one of the alchemy options and now allows access to all 3 for both Zhao Ming and alchemy heroes!

Can be paired with these other mods for Grand Cathay: Miao Ying & Zhao Ming Harmony Bonuses and Formation Attack Fix

So... basically, before the Cathay fanfic became a "real" thing in the game, Gelt was supposed to be the master of metal magic, right? But now Zhao Ming surpassed Gelt... which is fair, I guess, one is a human and the other is a goddamn dragon. I wonder if their skills are at least on par, I don't play with Warhammer "1" factions for such a long time (saved by the Orcs, sure, because of their DLC in WH "2")

Great mod! The extended duration made this abilities finally quite viable, also the AoE.

Removing the restriction to only choose one of the three upgrades made it quite overpowered thought. The thing is, these effects stack, that means, if you have zhao ming and just one alchemist with all the 4 abilities unlocked, you will easily be able to apply EIGHT simultaneous buffs for quite a couple of your units. This just gives insane buffs. The lowly peasent archers had with such an arrangement a missile strength of nearly 80. Crane gunners could easily reach 160. This is ridiculously overpowered.

So if you wanted to make an adjustment to make these abilities useful but still balanced, then maybe you want to keep the restriction. Or maybe restrict them to maybe two out of three.
