Description
Let's not beat around the bush, this sub is a piece of crap. It controls horribly but just enough to get you where you're going. Meant to be a cheap beginner ship that you will leave behind as quick as you can.

List of features:

- State of the Art Power Generation: Piloting this sub causes the power to dip dramatically, you can see this in effect when the lights dim and almost go out every time you move.

- Exit Hatch Ease of Access: The moment you leave the Rustydink's durable hull the hatch closes behind you automatically. Due to demand we have now added a button to enter the ship after you leave. We are not responsible for any death prior to this addition. You signed the waiver.

- Spacious Cockpit: We had our builders provide some extra space in the command room just for you! Sadly this may cause you to just barely reach the top corner to repair it if it breaches. You don't need to worry about that though. Since you're a good captain and all.

- Well Defended: The Rustydink comes with two coilguns ready to take on any foe. Sadly these guns have terrible field of view. I'm sure the captain can move to accommodate for the lacking angles though. The guns also lack much power capacity so make your shots count.

- Well Stocked: This sub comes with everything a crew can need. These items include: a single welding gun, three diving suits (you can just get one at the next colony for your fourth man), some crafting materials, a single revolver (it's better than starving to death when your engine dies and leaves you at the bottom of the ocean), and a single helmet for whoever security decides to beat that evening.

- Beautiful Visuals: Made from the front of a much larger wrecked submarine (as well as a few other submarines around it) the Rustydink certainly earns its name. Make sure you have your shots.

(This is my first sub and mod in general so I'm sure there are a few UNINTENDED faults in it. I've caught a few of them already and am currently working on fixing them and I will update when I get it done and also learn how to update mods on steam haha)

I keep seeing people state how terrible it is, and while it is certainly pretty bad (somewhat slow, floods easily, two coilguns with crap coverage), I've been on this workshop (and in the sub editor with friends) enough to know that it's far from terrible. I saw a sub last week that's designed to constantly lose power every few minutes (as the reactor isn't strong enough to keep the whole thing running) until it's been upgraded, micromanaging constantly and struggling to live on that sub makes this junksub look like a golden muscle car.

Hey guys! I really appreciate all the support and the criticism to my sub's shortcomings. I went ahead and fixed the issues that had been brought to my attention without taking away what makes the Rustydink what it is at its core (a steaming pile of crap). Also, to the multiple people requesting the NOT rusty version of the sub I am going to be piecing at that when I get the time! Thank you all so much for everything, it has been a very rewarding experience.

When it comes to the AI getting caught in the middle, it's probably because of the waypoints. Try auto-generating them and tweaking them to be closer to a grid or two closer to the ground. If the AI thinks the waypoint is too far above them, they won't try to get closer.

This ship is insanely fun and i've had some good times though i've had a problem with the top airlock, it looks as if its open and you can leave from the bottom half but as soon as you leave the sub you can't go back in
