In case someone wants to check :D
- To do that go to ..\Age of Mythology\mods and create a new folder with the name of your mod maybe something like "Buildings snap to Grid - Higher Limits".
- In that new folder create a "data" folder in which you put the proto2.8.xml file with your changes (mine and the other mod).
- Start the game and in the main menu, click on the Steam icon to see your mods. There select your new own new mod (the name you used in the first step) and click the "Publish Mod" button. Make sure to add a description of your mod, maybe with a reference to this one.
It's one of those no house limit mods, among a couple other things.
Would you mind if I where to upload it? Not that I know how to, but I can look it up.
So far I like the mod sometimes, but it bothered me other times when I did not WANT to snap to grid. In that case what I typcially do is save, disable the mod, make changes and save again, and enable the mod. Have fun!
