This barotronics item is a sub file with a bunch of different circuits that can be used to generate random numbers, which is pretty commonly needed as a subcircuit in larger contraptions. it can also be used as is though, a coinflip has never failed in helping to decide which crewmate to jettison out the airlock.

Each circuit has a short explanation of the math behind it to give an idea of where each one is useful. If you hate reading or math though, you can just look at the seeded LCG and the simple oscillator sampler.
