Plattenbau WBS70 Würfelhaus No.1-3

Hello Folks,

today's asset is my second paid commission. Included are 3 versions of this East-German "Würfelhaus"/"cube house" with different facade designs.

Big thanks to MGK for commissioning this asset.



This building type originated in Magdeburg and was built there and in surrounding towns, most notably Halberstadt, Burg (b Magdeburg) and Ilsenburg (Harz).
It's used as a free standing tower block, sometimes used to fill empty leftover spaces.



The 3 included buildings have been named by a system I hope is at least somewhat understandable.
"MDB" sorts them to my other assets from Magdeburg.
"WBS70" stands for "Wohnungsbauserie" or "building series", "70" indicating the year the blocks have been planned.
"Wuerfelhaus" is German for "cube house", named after the shape of the block.
The "No.#" stands for the general color of the building.



The 3 blocks can be found under their names, starting with "MDB WBS70 Wuerfelhaus" or alternatively by searching for "Plattenbau".
Each block has colorable tiles on the facade, 4 close to original colors included.

Here's a list of all the HEX-colors used:

• brown: 261A1B
  
• blue: 263F41
  
• orange: B28046
  
• white: FFFFFF

All blocks are on a 3x3 plot, the buildings are NOT flush with the plot lines.
When placing them next to each other, Move It is required.
The buildings can also only be used with the RICO mod. They are level 2 high residential buildings with 24 homes each.
If used without RICO mod, they stay functionless unique buildings.

The main texture files are shared, so using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size is advised.
