Introducing the DP Industries Rescue & Recover Pathfinder.

An all-terrain recovery and exploration vehicle suited to many environments with its four independent drive pods to provide as stable and smooth a ride as possible. The Pathfinder has a large cabin suitable for carrying a driver, co-driver and 6 passengers. Cabin is airtight and storage connected to the rest of the grid and a mission table for planning. All of the scripts for the vehicle are found in the main cabin also so that they are easy to find if anything goes wrong.

Driving is done through the Whiplash Skid-Steer script so it takes a little getting used to for driving such as, you cannot turn and drive forward/backwards at the same time.

The main focus for the vehicle is the recovery crane and flatbed from the mid to rear. The crane is run through the PARK script and operated from the Helm in the middle of the craft with controls listed on the Helm screen. Simple straightforward controls! The flatbed can be loaded with pretty much anything that will fit and has magnetic plates for locking down cargo. For easy unloading you can tip the bed and drive forward to dump all cargo making it very useful for recovering intact blocks and equipment (useful if playing with Aww Scrap). The crane should be good to lift 100 tonnes and the wide footprint of the vehicle should keep it steady during loading.

Not suitable for trying to print in Survival as there are many many subgrids. 2 subgrids for each wheel pod, sub grid for the flatbed and many many grids for the crane. So much safer to enable copy/paste and use it that way!
