this mod is still in active development and will change over time. some features/gamemechanics will be integrated at a later time, when eugen has mostly finished reworking core game mechanics. some new integrated gamemechanics or other values may change again or revert back to vanila after some test time if they dont fit too well into the gameplay

what this mod changes so far:



- every deck has slot costs of 1 point & enough activations points to fill the whole deck (minor adjustments and additional changes for some decks & deckcards)
- greatly extended duration for capture the flag mode and higher score limits
- -25% reduced speeds for ground units
- extended ingame active airwing of 16 (vanilla: 9)
- airborne divisions retain their FOB/FSB
- FOB/FSBs have +50% supply capacity & are more resistant
- duration for fire & smoke is +25% extended

as far as i know, there is no way to open ndfbin in a readable manner. but i could be wrong and somebody has made an editor for them already now. i am sorry, i cant help you really in that case

Thank you for your reply. Yes I found the Specific.ndf file, however I am having trouble opening it in a readable manner, as it is Specific.ndfbin

C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1611600\2803241691\Gen\AllPlatforms\NDF\GFX

the id for other modversions is shown a top under the steam shop button in the browser and looks like this:

Hey, would it be possible to get Specific.ndf file? I would love to merge this with "all divisions in NATO" mod. As me and my pals LOVE your mod, however some of us would love to play as pact while others as Nato, together

Sure, Shatras! We understand you like to stick to vanilla balance though. Most of our bellyaching is over airborne transport and strange balance decisions (leopard 2's armor stats for example, the east german panzer division being weirdly terrible for a 'category A' deck) which is beyond the scope of your work. The biggest problem warno has is its miserly map pool haha.

BTW we only play on 'Extreme' - so that unit counts are a bit more like wargame red dragon

@ Supply:
2 FOBs: Hasn't been a problem in any game. Some times they need to be 'out in the open' but its never resulted in a FOB casualty. My group likes things as they are in terms of the supply system. We like that in a normal game your guaranteed not to run out of supply at fobs, but that the logi system isnt 'solved' because you need to manage supply lines- unless you abuse artillery, in which case FOB's will in fact run dry. We also love that every deck gets FOB's, that was a huge selling point for this mod in general. I think the AI only spawns 1 per player, but i may be wrong about this- in any case the AI seems to make use of them fine. No problems.

hey Kel'Thuzad ! thanks for your support! yeah, thats sadly a difficult topic for me ;) i had always my problems with additional helicopter transportoptions and tried some solutions, but i was dissatisfied with the outcomings so far. and since i have to restart sometimes my mod files from scratch after a new vanilla update hits the ground and makes file & data chaos again and the game is still undergoing some bigger development changes, its much easier to maintain my mod without those changes, especialy if i have not too much time left for working on the mod right now. so this feature is on hold for now, but may return someday ;)
if i may ask, how is the supply situation for you and your friends now? i didnt want that supply gets too obsolete and does still matter enough. i am considering to reduce the FOB availbility to one for all versions, but of course with a higher supply capacity. spawning two FOBS per player in coop/mp could make the starting zone a bit too overcrowded

I noticed that for a little bit there 'airborne' infantry had helicopter transports. That was a really nice feature I and my buddies enjoyed. Will it be restored? We continue to love this mod by the way. Discourse around the friend group has been 'I hope Shatra does X' etc :P
