Pan's Trinkets

Description
Adds a new kind of card reward: Trinkets, powerful cards with unique effects that can be found during any run with any character.

Trinkets can drop from any fight. They drop linked to the normal card reward, so you have to choose one or the other.

Every trinket has a weight, displayed on the card. You can't add a trinket to your deck if the total weight of the trinkets already in your deck is too high.

At campfires, you can remove any trinket from your deck, as a free action. Use this to get rid of trinkets that become useless to you, in order to be able to pick a better trinket when you see it.

You start with 5 Max Weight, and gain 1 Max Weight for every 2 cards you've obtained this run. Removing cards does not decrease your max weight.

As of right now, there is 26 trinket cards. I plan to add more in the future, as well as character specific trinkets.

Ornate Mirror upgrade does not reduce cost of copied card. Other than that, I haven't run into any problems. The weight system is a really cool idea. I feel like you could even make it a little harder. Maybe only 1 max weight per 3 or 4 cards? But the cards don't seem too absurdly broken on their own. Maybe Universal Dictionary. I did have a ton of energy on the run I played with it so maybe I'm wrong. All around a welcomed addition to my heavy mod list.

oh thats interesting, i think i had upto 2 of them stacked in some games (will need to check again in case it was also affecting my lagging boss battle here)

hi pan, is it possible to make the trinkets all rare (maybe via an option)?

I figured it out.
It's actually the Custom modifier Vintage that crashes with this mod, the one that makes normal enemies drop relics instead of cards.
Probably the mod chokes on there not being a card to link the trinket to.

Will post the crash log to the thread anyway

Could you provide the crash log in the bug report thread? It's not a bug that I'm getting, so I can't fix it without it.

hi @totalstranger have you tried a steam verify files? i have this mod with those too, plus a lot more mods and it has been working ok so far.

This mod crashes my game when entering the rewardscreen, with only it, basemod, stslib, and modthespire active
