At some point, it is still not clear when, the Zirax attack the NSI home system with a massive fleet. A fleet so big it attacked all planets in the solar system at once. The attack was so large and fast that after 3 days the NSI had nothing left to defend themselve.
All the workers and families left alive on the planets started sending out distress calls. Many vessels responeded, including Gorn's NSC with it's own fleet to help evacuate everyone.

After a year Jarvis, still rebuilding his empire, turns to Gorn. Gorn his company was not as large as the NSI before the attack, but big enough to do for Jarvis, what Jarvis did for Gorn all those years ago. Gorn saying he wouldn't even need to ask they started rebuilding.
During this Rebuild Jarvis wanted to do better, bigger, more armor, more weapons, be better prepared. Set everything up as a proper faction with people he trusts like Gorn. With that they agreed to combine the NSI and NSC under 1 banner, that of the United Nexus Coalition.
Within this Coalition they would create more branches with certain purpose. For example, the NSI would still focus on production and design of all their past blueprints. But also be the main factor to produce the vessels for the UNC. Where Jarvis and Gorn design these vessels under the UNC name. This is the creation of one of the largest space industrie the Andromeda Galaxy would ever see.
