THIS ADDON REQUIRES ADDITIONAL STEPS AFTER SUBSCRIBE


1. Launch game, SUBSCRIBE and wait for the addon to download:



2. After download finished, unsubscribe.


3. Go to
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop

4. Find "2807931470" and copy this file ( This is our current addon )

5. Go to
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons
PASTE the "2807931470" file here.

6. Go to
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg
FIND AND OPEN autoexec.cfg
( Open with notepad )
- If you don't find autoexec, you need to create one, watch this video for explanation.

7. ADD this line inside the notepad:
mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 1; mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 0;
( If you have other screen resolution, replace 1920 1080 with your resolution )
Save and exit notepad.

*NOTE*: If you want to play in windowed mode, borderless, you should, instead, copy this line inside the notepad:
mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 1; mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 0;mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 2;

DISCLAIMER:
- In rare cases, some HUDs or FONTs addon might conflict with this addon but they still work together.
( Conflict just tells you they have a modified file in common, don't worry about this )

FAQ:
Q: - Why do I need to move the addon from workshop to addon folder?
A: - This is a glitch found in other addons as well, L4D2 can not read clientscheme.res from workshop folder. Why? Because workshop addons load very slowly, compared to addons located in addons folder.

Q: - VAC BAN ?
A: - No.

Can I message you for help? I've tried multiple times following these steps but the names still show up. The file doesn't say CFG, it just says text document, even if I put .cfg at the end.

UPDATE: ok so ignore what i typed out below because i just found out that all you need to do is rename autoexec file to a cfg, rather then a document file. mb if i came off really rude, however you could've atleast put that in the tutorial, or better yet make a actual YT tutorial or somthin IDK

ok i looked threw the tutorial again and i tried doing the steps again, and it did not work at all, it didn't crash my game or freeze it but now it does nothing. i legit tried every single step 1 TO 1 and nothing worked, either im doing something wrong or the mod doesn't work, because im looking threw the tutorial steps and it did nothing at all. i mind aswell just assume this mod/addon just doesnt work

also suggestion: can you please actually make a youtube tutorial idk what tf im doing pleae bro. :steamsad:
