Technoir is a one off gameplay-only level for Richter. The level is based on the Technoir location from The Terminator, and was one of a many planned level concepts for the long-cancelled Unknown Number, an extremely rough concept for a fan game that ended up being more an act of hubris.

This map more or less brings the old concept to life, featuring updated versions of the metal grating furniture (didn't bother putting in the Police light strobe concept in however) and a custom music wad that includes Nowtro's Technoir.

The level itself primarily functions as a design study of Richter levels, aiming to allow long multi-floor combos, high S rank (though there seems to be a bug where it'll decide to drop down) and fast paced intensity; despite this the Silenced Uzi is given to you as false sense of security (on the ground, unfortunately Richter never had assets/code for spawning and taking out the Uzi a-la Henchman)
