Adds mutagens to the game. Use with caution.

They are craftable at the Drug Lab after researching Medicine Production.
When taken, they cause the affected pawn to go into a temporary state where mutations may occur.
Some will make them extremely powerful, others... not so much.

Uses ChJees Regeneration Assembly, Nightinggale's ModCheck and ilikegoodfoods Variable Bleed Rate Framework.

Compatible with Combat Extended (load after CE) and virtually all other mods.

Feel free to post suggestions for new mutations and please give me feedback concerning balance, as testing takes some time.

This mod now has a synergy with the Evolved Organs mod, allowing the organs and additional bodyparts to be possible mutations.
IMPORTANT: To activate the synergy, all you need to do is to load THIS mod AFTER Evolved Organs, so it looks like: Evolved Organs - Mutants, otherwise it won't work.


  • See if the the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
  • If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
  • Post your error-log using the Log Uploader and command Ctrl+F12
  • For best support, please use the Discord-channel for error-reporting.

Does this work without Ranged Animal Framework? That mod is pretty rare now and isn't compatible with Vanilla Expanded Framework which pretty much is required by a ton of mods in comparison.. Meanwhile this mod is fantastic, just limited by it's dependency - is it just for a certain item in the mod it can do without maybe?

Would it be possible to add a version of this that uses Vanilla Framework instead? It seems like a cool mod but Ranged isn't compatible with VF :steamsad:

@Djarro I'd say that the mutations added by this mod are not 100% lore-friendly, but not plain silly at all. Except for Saitama's arm maybe. Just amputate it if your pawn ever gets it.

As there is not a list of the mutations, can someone who has used used this mod offer some insight as to if the mutations are lore appropriate, fantastical, or just plain silly? I'd be curious to know the mod's tone before using it.

@Fenrir009 I think some of the mutations are dependent on it. I guess it could be made into a patch instead depending on what other mod is used

Mlie, I know some mods that depend on ranged animal framework can function with vanilla expanded framework instead, is that the case for this mod, or is it a hard requirement? Also, thank you for everything you do! ❤️
