Great mod, and a fun fact for the comments section: not only do the roots of plants need oxygen, the cellular aerobic respiration of plants uses oxygen at night to turn the carbon and sugars and oxygen it made during the day into ATP! C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6CO2 + 6H2O + 32 ATP (energy)

Trees produce oxygen but don't use it, so saying that someone is taking oxygen from perfectly deserving trees is like saying letting oxygen sit uselessly is still better than letting that species breathe. I think the insult is hilarious.

I mean then you're still taking oxygen from the trees
just not the perfectly deserving

It's not like insults HAVE to make logical sense - like "Your entire brain and nervous system can be mapped and stored on a 3 1/2 inch 1.44 MB Floppy Disk and I'd still have 1.44 MB of free space left."

Sure, it's creative, but you can't actually fit even a single neuron on a floppy, never mind an entire brain and nervous system.
