Description
Smooth work in Egypt Commander however it seems that there is no rest for the wicked , after realizing that Egypt will stay in GDI's hands Nod has decided to move on to it's southern neighbour: Sudan , Nod seems to be very stubborn to try and gain control over the whole Northern-East area of Africa and it doesn't seem like they are going to give up the fight easily , here in the area of El-Obeid, Sudan we have an important prison camp which inhabits dangerous war criminals, corrupt politicians and all kinds of other troublemakers which most of them are affiliated with Nod , these people are not allowed under any circumstances to gain their freedom back for this will endanger us and make Nod grow stronger , since the day the prison was built we have always feared that Nod will attempt to free these prisoners and indeed today our fears came true , Nod has establised a base near our prison camp and they seem eager to destroy us and capture the prison in order to free their comrades , in addition they have also started looting and destroying 2 local villages while killing all the civilians that stand in their way , deal with these murderers appropriately and keep them away from the prison , also ironically we need these prisoners alive due to our own reasons so don't think about doing anything stupid like destorying the prison , Good luck

Well that activated CFE patch explains now everything ;)
Correct me if i'm wrong but as far as I remember the AI doesn't build any FlameThrowers in this mission so all the ones that the players encounter are already preplaced around the map and there are not too many of them.
Using the Harvs in this mission (and also on other ones) against them can be very useful (in combination of scattered infantry) and it can also be useful for other things if you think outside of the box and use Harversters as a weapon or as a cannon fodder. ;)
Glad you loved all the available GDI missions so far and I really hope that you will enjoy the Nod ones as well , indeed I plan on finishing both campaigns (and maybe in the future also the Covert Ops missions too) but I can't really tell when it will happen.

Ohh, shit right sorry completely forget i even had the CFE patch on, but as for the Flame Thrower infantry, i get the mission isn't supposed to be a cake walk, but without the ability to build humvees it feels like the only way to kill them is just keep throwing infantry at them until they die, then again maybe i just hate them cause everytime i try to use them they all kill each other, You gonna be finishing the rest of this campaign btw? played all the GDI ones today, loved them all, can't stand playing as Nod,

Glad you enjoyed the mission! ;D
Well I did design those missions to give some kind of a challenge to the player so they won't feel too easy , that's why you have to fight also FlameThrowers but it really does not make this specific mission brutal.
Also there are no Viscs in this mission so if you are using some kind of an unofficial patch that causes infantry to mutate to viscs once they step on Tiberium it's your own thingy but I don't encourage anyone to use ANY mods while playing those missions.

Great map love it! apart from the flame soldiers, there just not fun to fight, map would be better without them, and why on earth are the visceroids friendly to Nod?
