Description
My version of the Vought F4U-4 Corsair carrier-based fighter.

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

EDIT!
The game does not like this plane design and its aerodynamics for some reason but I've tweaked it as best I can to make it fly reasonably well.

This version is armed with 8 500 lb bombs as well as 6 .50 caliber machine guns (I use double machine guns to somewhat emulate the power of the .50 cal).

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brake.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw. *
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right arrow: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.**
Hold X/Invert steering: Fold wings.
L/Headlights: Approach light.
K/Hazard lights: Sight light.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Machine guns.
Fire action 2-5/Num 2-5: Bombs in pairs.
Fire action 8/Num 8: Arrestor hook.

*I do not know why it often tends to veer off course so badly on the ground above 90-100kph. I've changed the landing gear several times, added extra stabilising fins internally etc. but nothing seems to help. Sorry about that.

**The real gear turned the wheels 90 degrees so they would lie flat inside the wing. I use the max steering angle of 60 degrees to simulate this. The only way to get them 90 degrees is with an actuator, but adding rotating actuators to the landing gear makes them very wobbly so this will have to suffice.

Have fun!

I will most likely take a break from making more things because of health issues (and having made a high number of planes in the last few weeks so I feel a bit burned out).
If you have any suggestions (and can be polite about it) feel free to leave comments on my vehicles and I might put them on my to-do list for the future.
Have fun with my planes. :)
