Shattered Worlds

Description
Its a map giant sized 88x98 using the void to create land "islands" or small shattered worlds. This map wasn't really made for balance but more for role play or exploration. So if your expecting something well balanced for a fair competitive game, you won't really find it here. I designed this with two player with the guardian mod, in mind.
---Uncheck "Clustered Starts for Allied Players" It produced a ctd for me.


Over 25 worlds ranging from small to large, all the worlds are different from each other. You might find a well colonized empire world, or a swampy forbidden one with only a small number of hoburgs living on it. A sparse desert world with oasis scattered about, or a small society that has learned to embrace their new life in the void.

A few of the worlds are connected by void ferries, there are also portals in the Magical Academy's and Temples of the different worlds.

I tried making each world unique and to have their own flavor, some probably have too many resources, but like I said, its more for role play and exploration. I couldn't imagine balancing this thing with how the AI work.
Be careful near the edge of the worlds or your units may fall off and be driven to insanity in the void, unless they can find a way to escape in time.

Also I did custom name most things, I'm not that super creative with names so I used mostly Easter eggs to other media, I also have a custom start location for the human player and five A.I.s. If you hate these things, you can just remove the lines.


I've not been able to test the map much, so if you find anything wrong let me know, I welcome any feed back or such. If you like this style of map, let me know, I may make another but smaller version.

i used some warhammer mods to make it into a role-play of the warhammer 40k galaxy with tyranids death guard thousand sons and imperial guard plus a bunch of demons of the chaos gods turned out painfully fun and great with roleplay

Small issue. I've noticed dozens of instances of tiles along the edge of the islands where the art asset being used is void but the game labels and treats those tiles as plains. In fact if you zoom in you can see little tufts of green grass growing out of the starry nothingness. I'm pretty sure this is unintentional since it makes a lot of the ferry tiles unnecessary.

Also all of the flame paths connecting the islands that I've seen use the void art asset as well. Which makes them almost impossible to see unless you're zoomed all the way in and looking for the tiny sparkling flame effects. It would be nice if they had a more unique art asset so they could be seen from a greater zoom level.
