Description
A late upload, but here is Treasure Trove Cove from Banjo-Kazooie, recreated and readjusted for the VSH gamemode! Although Arena mode on the map is possible, too. Another map of mine that was in development for 3 months before the original trade version release, followed by updates for it accordingly!

Changes were made around the map to accommodate for said gamemode, being:
  • Interiors removed
  • Lockups' permanently closed, but can launch yourself up with when hit or shot at
  • Arrow-textured buttons on specific surfaces for launching yourself up onto higher platforms
  • Wooden bridges in place of large platform gaps, to help out slower classes
  • Red Feathers and Extra Honeycombs used as health kits and Blue Eggs as ammo boxes

List of general mechanics that will appear in this and other BK maps of mine as well:
  • Saved progress of specific collectables across maps (currently unimplemented, W.I.P.)
  • Flight pad launching players upward followed by temporarily increased air movement and mark for death (who would want to watch demos, soldiers, or heavies fall from the sky as they punch bullets into you?)
  • Shockjump pad launching players upward with temporarily increased air movement
  • Arrow-textured wall buttons on specific geometry for launching up onto higher platforms
  • Climbable specific slopes for when possible (Like in the original game)
  • Custom launch pads for getting onto much higher platforms when originally impossible due to flight pad in the original game

Current Version: v3

As of the October 12th, 2022 update, tf2 is now able to play packed custom sounds properly from workshop maps.
