This mod adds different types of ammo for your archer units to use. Each faction has it's own ammo type it can use.

Since I'm unable to add shot types into the game, I'm limited to the four shot types already in the game that I can added custom descriptions to. Some units have special kinds of ammo that the description does not reflect, so pay attention to the arrow's stats.

This mod is balanced around SFO and not recommended for vanilla.



Beastmen, Bretonnia, Dark Elves, Kislev - Some units have... explosive results. +3 Base Damage -5 Armor Piercing +5 Large Damage +Morale penalty for units hit +6 seconds reload time -Less accurate


High Elves, Dwarfs, Empire, Southern Realms -5 Base Damage +5 Armor Piercing +10 seconds reload time


Wood Elves +Lowers the morale, and missile resistance of units underneath the volley. -Less accurate, slower arrow speed. +1 second reload time


Greenskins, Tomb Kings, Special Archers - Some units have... explosive results. +5 Infantry Damage +Stat effects on enemy hit +6 second reload -Less accurate


Dwarfs, Empire cannons +More effective against multiple units -Less effective against single units.


If you make a translation, or a sub mod adding units, let me know and I can add it to this page to make it easier to find. It's very easy to make a submod. If you want to add units to your favorite overhaul mod then please do it, because unless I also use that mod I won't take the time to add something like Radious because I don't play it.

For some reason this mod doesn't makes my game start, any ideas why ?

@LiquidThicc I'm pretty happy with how it is. Once IE comes out I'll fully switch to that and might add more then.

@LiquidThicc All factions now have one ammo type to make them more unique. So High Elves only have heavy shot now.

Are the standard High Elf Archers still supposed to have Flaming Arrows or was that removed?

Is it possible to reduce the range and speed for the flame arrow as the extra material would increase the drag?
