Description
Adds weapon sound effects from Mechwarrior 4 along with SFX from Mechwarrior 3 and MechAssault to fill in the gaps
laser sounds dynamically adjust to match beam duration making them compatible with any mod that adjusts beam durations

love the mod. is there a way to add the reload/recharge sounds from the past games i got so use to listening for the guns reload that its throne me off not having them.

truth be told i'm not sure i am able to update this mod. my last attempt i found the mod package refusing to pack.
also the laser sound playing continuously on the death of the firer is a bug in the game itself. the sound handler was never expected to handle laser sfx like this.

On a separate note, I noticed a new bug since Solaris released. If a mech is destroyed while firing a standard laser, there is a chance the sound will just loop endlessly. Its only happened a few times, but the few times it has happened it has only been the standard medium laser, which also seems a little bit louder than Pre Solaris DLC. I did not have Yet Another Weapon installed.

The new Solaris DLC weapons do not seem to use the modded sound effects for firing. They are completely silent other than a very faint sound of the projectile flying by. I expected the Binary laser to be bugged, but i would have thought MW5 would the pull the same audio file for the new rapid fire ACs and XPPC from the standard one like the UAC5 does.

Do I really need "Yet Another Weapon" for this work? I just want the nostalgic weapon sounds, not more weapons added.

超棒!非常重要的mod，極度推薦!
MW5原版的雷射音效跟手電筒差不多無力，換上這個模組聽覺效果整個威了起來!
當然還有MW4超棒的粒子砲(PPC)音效
尻在敵人身上通體舒暢阿!

most MW3 weapon sfx are also included to supplement gaps the MW4 sfx couldn't fill
