Mat Shelter [SET]

Coastal Salish tribes of the pacific northwest region constructed these temporary summer structures made from thin wooden poles upon which woven mats were fastened. Each individual structure usually housed a smaller family unit and would be easily transported and set up due to the lightweight nature of the materials used. Locate at the edge of beaches above the high tide line facing water, or wherever there be a flat expanse around food gathering locations.

There are three unique structure types provided in this set (Gable, Four-Post, Lean-To). They are terrain conforming to appear staked into the ground wherever placed. They also allow size and subtle color variation upon being plopped. I recommend using the non-terrain conforming conversion mod if you wish to have more control and convert these into procedural objects. All textures are shared.

This is my very first completed asset and I have more coming soon. Some will be more modern buildings and props; others will be like this one and fill in some missing workshop voids for a time and culturally sensitive project I am working on. Feel free to share any feedback in the comments below.
