War Inc. Battlezone - QLB-06 (Prop)

A rare weapon in a quite obscure game nowadays.

The QLB-06, or QLZ-87B, is a 35mm semi-automatic grenade launcher. Weighs 9.1 kg. Range 1,000 m. Magazine capacity 4-6 rounds, and is a further evolution of Chinese QLZ-87 automatic grenade launcher. It was first unveiled to general public in 2006. The double designation (QLB-06 or QLZ-87B) stems from the fact that internal Chinese sources (press) call this weapon as QLB-06, while Poly Technologies Inc, an export corporation of PLA, calls it QLZ-87B in its advertising literature.

And because there's barely any footage of how this weapon functions IRL, so I'm not sure if I got the weapon's mechanics right or not, considering the bolt literally doesn't move in the original game, so yeah, if anyone knows, it would be nice if you can comment about it.👍

The texture of the ironsights might be a bit weird, since its UV map for some reason doesn't match up with it's texture, therefore I have to at least make them to look somewhat decent manually.

And this model came from War Inc. Battlezone, a game that is probably largely forgotten nowadays, it was a F2P shooter that was available on Steam years ago before it got shut down.

I know that I need to get this model here ever since I saw War Inc. Battlezone is probably the only one game that has this weapon besides Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising and Jagged Alliance: Back in Action, and It's kinda funny how I managed to get the model, as technically you can still download the files through Steam using the runappid command, and there's a QuickBMS script for the game's files, and I thought that was the end as I didn't know how to convert the raw .sco model files into universal formats. Then I found out that the game actually uses the same engine as the infamous WarZ (later known as Infestation: The New Z), and someone made a converter on that, which you can fortunately still download at this forum thread below:

It's pretty rare to see Chinese weapons in game nowadays, cosnidering what happened to games that features Chinese military, especially after Battlefield 4 back in 2013, so yeah, I cherish every game that features more Chinese weapons, especially rare ones like this.
