Description
Discontinued :
WeaponCore has made it clear, it is hostile to modders who try to maintain their works.
Every month, these Files have been damaged, and no assistance or support given to make the work repairing them was ever given.
Entire backend sections changed, and invalidated prior knowledge and Codework, resulting in this mod and every other mod I made needing to be repaired.
Constantly with no Warning, causing any Mod to be effectively unstable.
I can not spend the time, on over 45 mods to repair them every month.

Vanilla Overhaul : SAE Expansion
This Add-On to SerpentArms-Edition of Vanilla Replacer, features mk-II versions of various weapons primarily using the vanilla assets.

This mod relies and expects the Serpentarms Edition changes to Armour, and Weapons and is set as a dependency in this build for that reason.
Those wishing a more extensive change than the WC-Configuration system allows, might not have set that dependency just keep that in mind.

Early Release : Stage 1
Early Release Stage 1, Features the Heavy Missile Turret, Armoured Missile Turret (With a stubborn UV Error), Railgun Turret, Micro Gatling and the Improved Missile Turret.
Ammunition for mk-II Missiles is available already, in the Assembler (Basic, Full)


Weapons are given armour-type resistances, and come in several types.

Unarmoured : 10% Energy-Type Damage Malus , 5% Kinetic-Type Damage Resist


Armoured : 20% Energy-Type Damage Resist, 25% Kinetic-Type Damage Resist
  • Heavy Missile Turret
  • Micro Gatling Turret




Heavy Armoured : 30% Energy-Type Damage Resist, 35% Kinetic-Type Damage Resist
  • Armoured Gatling Turret
  • Armoured Missile Turret
  • Railgun Turret

Range Table
  • Armoured Gatling Turret : 1.5km
  • Armoured Missile Turret : 5km
  • Heavy Missile Turret : 5km
  • Micro Gatling Turret : 1.5km
  • Railgun Turret : 5km (AI Range)



SA-Edition Blueprint Changes
  • Assault Cannon Shells - Replaced Uranium Cost (0.1) with Silver Cost (0.1)
  • Assault Cannon Shells - Increased magazine per Production order from 1 to 3
  • Missile 200mm - Replaced Uranium Cost (0.1) with Gold Cost (0.4)
  • Missile 200mm - Replaced Platinum Cost (0.04) with Silver Cost (0.2)
  • Missile 200mm - Increased Magnesium Cost (1.2) to 2.5 units
  • These Changes are not built into this mod but the Original Release


Notable Weapon Functions
  • Missile 200mm (All Sources) retain High-Agility Tracking.
  • Mk-II Missile 200mm has heavier blast, higher HP (2 -> 3), and is slottable in supplied new turrets.
  • Gatling Turrets are still best suited for interception and anti-air duty.
  • Weaponry re-use Vanilla magazines including re-use of Original 200mm Missile magazines.

  • Consider additional options or new weapons, such as DLC-skins of select weapons for visual options

  • Do I accept Commission work? Yes. Be warned, it isn't always open as I get swamped quite often.
  • Do I have a Paetron? Yes.
  • Do I have a Discord? Yes, I have my own, and I'm on WeaponCore's Discord, BigOldbear's Discord, Keen's Discord, and ARMCO.
  • Do I do my own Textures and Models? Yes. This is why some of them are utter crap.

  • Will you update (X)? I have an incredibly busy time-table, and a lot of my mods are internally complex so it can take me ages, Apologies.

I would like to ask permission to use the models in your expansion in my own unlisted vanilla replacer.

I will of course upload unlisted, credit you for the models and link back to this mod as the source if you agree to let me use them.

WeaponCore added the lovely feature of Deleting all Blocks from Mods it does not control, blocking placement of all Blocks from Mods it does not control, and Generating false Error lines about Mods it does not control AFTER I Stopped development of mods near it. So any weapon mod work I do, that isn't it, WeaponCore deliberately fucks with. And I have no intention of dealing with WeaponCore so that it constantly force repairs as Hes stripped All functionality of Version Control from any author that isn't himself. So No.

This mod was Discontinued due to WeaponCore issues being not worth it, as WC itself would break or cause Mods to be broken as someone decided to alter Code and disabled Version control, so mods couldnt ensure they worked while they updated their local builds. Instead you were on the clock as WC killed your mod(s), and you werent allowed any stopgaps. As I predate WeaponCore, I didn't actually have the option of 1 mod myself, and that was prior to WC shutting off any Mod that WC didn't dictate. Which I still find as the most dickish move possible, as Injecting script code into every other mod to deliberate break it on purpose is fucked.

i love a lot of the mods that use WeaponCore but i quit using it because of how often i had to go find what mod broke and remove it so if some one wants to use WeaponCore they should stick to 1 weapon mod at a time
