Common Japanese Platform Layout Collection

This clip collection provides some of the most common platform layouts in Japan. Ranging from basic a island/side platform with different width(w), to platforms that have 4 tracks for stoping trains. All of the platforms are extenable, just drag the station track icon. If more customization is needed, be sure to remove constraints of nodes that locked "To a track point".



"X式" can be "島式" or "相対式". They mean island platform and side platform respectively.
"α面" means there are α (number) of physical platforms.
"β線" means there are β (number) of track(s) that adjacent to platform(s).
"γ通過" means there are γ (number) of track(s) that bypass all platform(s).
"w=Ym" means the width within the safe area of the platforms are Y meter.

It is a side platform layout with 2 platforms, 2 tracks adjacent to platforms and 2 tracks that bypass all platforms.
It is a island platform layout with 2 platforms, 4 tracks adjacent to platforms and the width is 9.6 meter.
