Version 2.2 is here! This new version features a expanded PIDS database including the new island stops, new train index will be shown as below, new weight limit, extended range, engine swap, battery charger, etc

This is a paintkit which means its completely free to use! Just remember to leave credit, thanks :)

The screenshots shown are of an older version, so there is a few changes that are not shown on the workshop page screenshots.

1. Enter a cab via the nose or passenger doors.
2. Turn on the breaker below the drivers seat in cab A.
3. Go to the intended driving cab, then turn on the master switch.
4. Press the engine start button.
5. Select the desired driving direction with the reverser buttons and clear the DSD warning with 1 on the keyboard.
6. Release the brakes with a/d until the Brake Application needle reaches 0.
7. Set the appropriate lighting configuration.
8. Apply the throttle with w/s or the buttons.

To creators:
I have added a new LED installation paintkit feature where you can swap out the old bulbs out for the newer ones. All you have to do is select, both sides, cut them, move them down to where the current headlights are. Paste them and merge! If you wish to use the old headlights simply delete the new installation ones above in the editor. I have also added paintable signs which are completely green, here you can paint on the trains identifying number, 158xxx to make your own unique trains like 158830, 158453, etc. The interior is completely stripped to allow room for your own interior, the panelling has also been updated to allow for larger logos on the side of the train. Have fun painting!

For settings up the the T11 (Transmission):
When you have finalised your interior, you now need to give it a test run, the red keypad inside the forward cab is the throttle reducer in the 2nd stage of the transmission, make sure you find a good value which probably gives you a slow realistic acceleration in 2nd stage. A good starting point is to go from 8.5 incrementally in 0.1 each. Once you have found it, follow the connection of the keypad back to the T11 controller and change the final drive selector from 'Keypad input' to 'Slider on controller'. Make sure to also put in the value you found best on the keypad onto the 'throttle reduction' slider, now you can delete the red keypad in the cab. For the Start Constant, do the same when performing a test run to get a nice easy realistic acceleration. Typically the heavier the train is, the higher the start constant you would need, for the 'clutch max value' slider, its as easy as checking that when you reach the transition speed at 56mph your train by this point is acceleration moderately quickly now. Experiment around with this slider to see what gives you the best result, just make sure you dont set it low enough so that the engine cant actually reach its transition speed. Just remember there is 2 T11 controllers, one for each car so make sure whatever settings you plug in is mirrored on the opposite side which is in the same position the respective driving side.

Driving notes:
-Braking on this multiple unit is more powerful, so expect alot of resistance when applying power while brakes are applied
-Disregard any wheelslip between 50-60mph as that is the transmission shifting into 2nd stage

Lighting configuration index:
1. Day lights
2. Night lights
3. Marker lights only
4. Tail lights only

New PIDS station index continuation:
13. Charlizard Train Stop
14. Albiebie Train stop
15. EnzoKats Village
16. Thomas Train Stop
17. Uran Wind Plant and Uranium Processing (chernoybl)
18. Kenichi Train Stop

-The train seen in the thumbnail is my Transport for Wales 158830 livery I made using this painkit, go check it out on the 158 collection page! :)

As usual, if you have any questions about the build, leave a comment and I will answer as soon as!

Forgot to mention that the 158 and 159 are both multiple unit compatible since they share the same logic! This means you can form 5 car units if you wish to. Be on the lookout for a 158 regional railways livery too in the works.

Hey candy48 there is a circuit breaker under the drivers seat in one of the cabs. There once you have turned it on you can turn on the master switch on the right and control the train from there. I advise against using infinite electricity as that will trigger the horn

how do you turn on the train if i use infinit electricity the horn is on but if i do not heve it on i cant use the train
