Updates
1.01 - First update, renamed their category to 'aquanoid' according to popular request. Fixed problem in which fish empires were appearing without names

Planned Updates
Animations - If anyone knows of any free software that can help me animate these fishes please let me know. I can't really justify getting Maya at the moment. Or if anyone would like to volunteer their time to help animate my fish bois I would be super grateful

More fish - I have lots of ideas in mind for this, though this partly depends on how well this mod is received

Hello Jaypeejamilson, I have included animated version of your Aquatic Portraits Mod into Species of Stellaris. Credits are included on modpage and inside the mod file itself. Feel free to check out the mod if you would like. Thank you.

Hey Mr_Daniels, as long as your not using them commercially feel free. Just add a credit and let me know what you end up doing with them

Hello jaypeejamilson! I was wanting to addon to the species classes in my Stellaris mod "Species of Stellaris" and your Aquatic Portraits Mod mod is perfect as an addition for several species class portraits. I was looking if I can be granted permission to use the mod in this way. I was going to attempt to animate them too. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.

Great portraits! About your questions on animations, It's certainly possible to animate using blender, which is free. You'll need a plugin, there's some sort of tuturial for EU4 here ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1965958854 ) EU4 is another paradox game, but it works for stellaris as well.

I animated my own race, the mucor using this approach, you can find the result here:

Just a warning that it was quite a challenge to get everything working, but then I had no experience whatsoever with 3D software nor with animations, the tutorial certainly did not have enough detail for me.

These are super cool. I like the art style. I hope you keep adding to them. Do you have plans to do any other species?
