The first Drone made by CCG industries, it would be designed specifically for recon. With no weapons base, it moves rather slow, but has a good EW suite. Later down the line, AGMs will be designed to fit on the air-frame, along with landing gear. This will be known as variant B. Later down the line, it would stock have landing gear, no armaments. This would become Variant A. Variant B and C would have armaments, along with designation names 'Phantom' and 'Predator' respectively. Being Carrier Borne, it is also replacement to any AWACS ideas. Orion would go under the Projekt classifications due to this. She is the first aircraft that would do this.
With tensions over the DZ Mid-Line worsening, and Nightslicers not being able to give adequate information, the Orion was made to be a larger information gathering platform, so the Nightslicer can be designated for bombing missions rather than recon.
