Description
This is a marvelous re-upload of FU Realistic Recipes by the all-marvelous, ever-radiant Prismarinabee! Shout-out to this lovely queen of a beautiful bee for making this lifesaver of a mod! Seriously, she's a real keeper if i were you! Don't worry, i've removed the research recipes in the old version, they are broken and you don't have to experience them anymore, okay?

I don't know what fantasyland nonsense FU lives in where you can uncraft a battery but not metal bars. But don't worry, Prima took care of it.
All vanilla furnace bars are now able to be uncrafted with the universal uncrafter
This mod started when I looked at the Frackin Universe recipe for Graphene. I said "Iodine and Methanol???? What???"
I was absolutely convinced that Graphene was not made with that. Eventually, I looked it up, and yeah, iodine is not used in the first 3 results on "How Graphene is manufactured." Neither is Methanol.
So, I modified graphene (and will possibly modify more recipes in the future)
Graphene now costs 2 Carbon Plates, 2 Copper Bars, and 2 Hydrogen.
This is based on a method developed by people at MIT, and if you're a nerd you can read about it Here [news.mit.edu]
If you know a recipe that is definitely not realistic (there is actual science that suggests the recipe should be different, preferably science that exists on a publicly-accessible webpage) let me know in the comments and I will work on patching it.
Oh, and in case you didn't figure this out, You will need frackin universe for this mod to work
Hopefully this mod gets enough attention that Sayter changes the original recipes and I don't need to keep doing the work of science.
And even though I don't think this needs to be said, I'm not trying to make it easier to craft, I'm just trying to make it realistic.
I was going to say this took 5 minutes but I flubbed up the patch file in 2 different ways and reloading the client takes 2 minutes so.......that's why it's 1.1 first, because 1.0 was the broken version that did nothing.
Altered Recipes
----As of V1.6----
  • Graphene -> 2x Carbon Plate, 2x Copper Bar, 2x Hydrogen
  • Tungsten Ore -> Effectively Removed because you can't make an element without itself. But since I don't know how to remove recipes entirely, I altered it so you need 1 tungsten bar to make 2 tungsten ore. So it's basically like connecting a power strip into itself.
  • Gas Centrifuge -> Replaced Effgium with an electromagnet, and Morphite with titanium. Morphite is strong, yes, but also malleable and you don't want a gas centrifgue's casing (which is subjected to the centrifugal force of spinning at speeds of around 60,000rpm) to bend easily.
  • Stick of RAM (In machining table) -> Yields 4 instead of 2, because it doesn't make sense that 2 silicon boards plus extra gold and polymer yields 2 smaller silicon boards (RAM sticks). This is to comply with the law of conservation of matter.
  • Universal Uncrafter can now process vanilla bars. Yeah. You couldn't do that before.
1.7 patch: *should* fix the issue of tungsten not appearing in your primitive furnace. I had debated pulling a "minecraft creeper" and leaving the bug on the premise that a crude stone furnace can't possibly smelt tungsten ore, but my research doesn't give a conclusive nay. I honestly cannot test this because I have another mod changing recipes. If it does not appear, you can always buy it from Ursa miner. Otherwise, I'm totally stumped

  • Actually the mod works without problems ms bee, it's just that well FU is a pretty complicated piece of code. With a LOT of inaccuracies to reality in the scientific community. Jeez, Sayter come on. You can do more real life research on how graphene is made, how centrifuges were built, etc. Anyways that's my all buzzy drone bees. Once again, a huge credit to Prismarinabee for handing me permission to reupload this mod!

    Aaaand i'm out of here.

You know, it always bothered me that when falling into a pocket of helium, suddenly it makes YOU lighter instead of just suffocating you at the cellular level.

This is actually really dope, using real science in gaming, to do cool stuff. Thanks for the mod!

There isn't a Universal Uncrafter in FU. It's a seperate mod.
