3856 year. The war is over and the United Earth Federation has decided to open new colonies. Thus was born Project 565, which provided for the creation of an expeditionary fleet capable of exploring new worlds. The main ship of the project was the Light Colonial Cruiser of the Pegasus series. It was capable of carrying three full research parties of 20 space engineers who were to analyze the new planets for survival.

The ship's hull was manufactured at a private shipyard Drovosekoff Inc. On board the Pegasus, a complete production facility was installed, capable of creating everything necessary for survival in new worlds. The large hold accommodated two orbital shuttles of the 565 series, which should ensure the supply of colonists from low orbit in gravity up to 0.5 g.1

The recreational zone, designed for 20 people, made it possible to bring a batch of colonists out of hibernation and ensure their functional recovery after a long flight in cryochambers. The recovery area included a restaurant, a disco bar, a research lab, a greenhouse, a shop, a cinema, and even a swimming pool.

Although the project 565 was considered civilian, the UEF military command insisted on installing a minimum weapon system for a ship of this size. The defense of the ship from a possible attack was provided by 8 long-range artillery turrets. The close defense consisted of 10 assault turrets and two wings of light space fighters of the Mosquito type. The main weapons mounted in the bow gun complex were 19 railguns, which could not only spray the enemy into atoms, but also, if necessary, have the way through the asteroid belt.

The ship was controlled by a crew of 6 people from the main and reserve bridge. The tactical center provided navigation and detection of possible threats. The management of the course artillery complex was provided by two gunners. A cargo officer was responsible for the control of production, cargo and hold.

For its dimensions and weight, the ship has good controllability and speed along all 6 axes and was balanced in the center of mass, which allowed it to hover motionlessly in gravity up to 0.5 g without the risk of falling to the planet's surface. This also made it possible to take off and land on the moons. The range of the jump drive reached 2000 km without cargo.

Light Colonial Cruiser Pegasus passed the quantum gravity ring of sector Z-467 on September 11, 3861 towards the unknown space and since then there has been no communication with it...
