Description
Fictional Edit / Original / USW-F

Billed From: Keene, New Hampshire, USA

Alignment: Face

One of the classic roster members when the USW-F was founded, the "Radioactive Man" Ray Gould was a bodybuilder that happened to be a wrestling coach. His wrestling background and his fascination with martial arts led him to, almost by happenstance, impart in MMA, where he attempted to join the GFC, popping in with an impressive record of 2-1-1.

Two issues are what ended his run prematurely in the company, which were a stricter ruleset at the time, and the company clamping down on weight classes. He generally came in at 275 pounds, and cutting weight was not in the cards.

His next venture was in Professional Wrestling, where he would gain as much success as he had, due to his size, freak strength and natural charisma. This led him to bounce around various micro-feds until he got on the radar of Shoot-Style enthusiast Shane Van Horlick, who invited him to the USW-F on the prospect of fighting in a place similar to what he used to do in the cage. He obliged, and as such became a staple of the roster for years to come. Despite the years having come by and with the inclusion of a new batch of martial artists to the table, he still remains a huge presence among the regulars, being one of the largest among the roster who isn't afraid to drop them on the canvas hard and throw hands of iron.
