Description
Being Inspired by looking into some issues from FoxyAndris "Recrutable Mechanical Spider Pet" mod, I decided to make my own from the ground up.

This is my first mod and i made it on a whim. so bear with me XD

This mod adds a custom new faction called the "Technomads" (I'm amazing at naming things i know.) that sell 2 variants of mechanical spiders the MKI and slightly better MKII.
The MK1 being originally a worker model has increased strength to carry things. and athletics for the speed.
And the MK2 being originally a combat model has increased combat stats at the cost of strength and athletics

Both versions of spiders come with a backpack (using garru backpack looks because i lack the skills of making custom ones) they weigh a bit more but can also stack items up to 10.

The faction members themselves are also quite strong so you might want to refrain from getting violent with them. They are experienced in delving into ruins and beating robotic spiders into submission after all.

Right now the faction itself is pretty much a complete copy paste of the nomad faction. I did separate them from the nomads as much as i could find to make sure any other mods involving nomads or the spiders should be compatible. They also have different armor/weapons to make them look distinct visually.

There is also a game start included with this that starts you with both spider versions. added purely for testing purposes.

To do list when fancy strikes me or i learn how:
-Make them more expensive (Currently don't know how to do this)
-Edit the faction spawn locations,
-Maybe some balancing pending feedback

DO FEEL FREE (like really please do) suggest area's where this faction should probably walk around. and area's they should absolutely not be in. (for example i should probably remove them from holy nation territory in the future)

sadly can't test if that's a bug with the mod or just some random shenanigans from the game.
i also completely forgot how the modding for this game works so i can't test or fix anything either.

There's just a spider walking around, and no salespeople are with it.

I often find them getting bulled by blood hounds. Violent mongols.

alot of the time they wonder the black desert, usually surrounding the black City(machine City)

If i remember right... it shared the same routes as normal nomads that have animals? but it has bin a good while.

@pgames-food if you want good sentries, Try "Grigori" and Scary Spider bots(its the mechanical Skin spiders) mind you, its mostly mid-end game creatures. also suggest Foul Hounds and Grievwriths, however this mod here can also tie into Butcher spiders(scarierSpider) as they tent to sell them too.

O',..,'O I was hopeing that initial image was what it looked like. got my hopes up.

as fore zones, Ide suggest the obvious Black desert, Burning Desert, Iron Sands, and then maybe around the Tech city place, Forgot its name.
