Description
Play as the Kings of Croatia and Dalmatia, Petar Krešimir IV and Matthias Corvinus; in Sid Meier's Civilization VI.

Croatia is one of many Slavic realms that endured in the Balkans. The Croatian people remained united despite the dissolution of the Old Church Slavonics that saw eastern Serbs pursue Autocephaly, and the neighbourly Bosnians that struggled to find a church identity and ultimately were wooed by the Ottoman Turks. The Croatian people spent much of their civilization's existence under the overlordship of larger nations including: Hungary, Austria, the Ottoman Turks, the Third Reich, and the two Yugoslavias. It was during the medieval period under Tomislav and Petar Kresimir that Croatia secured its extensive coastline and the interior that is Slavonia.

Bosnia is highly requested, @MuFaFa. To be honest, the issue with Bosnia was that my original plan was far too complex and scenario-like for a normal game; the civilization has been shelved for over a year now. I have a trend of releasing Slavs around the new year so it may be Bosnia's time to shine if I roll its lucky number.

Your words are kind and your ideas are generous, @BushKebop. However, there already exists plans for all Southern Slavs. I cannot promise any of these ideas will be added. The old "Good Bosnian" Christianity already relates to the civ's unique improvement.

Love your work Strudeler, big thanks and respect, i can't play a game without picking some of your factions, i hope you get the time at some point to add the Bosnian kingdom.
If it helps here's some suggestions:
Around the fall of byzantium, it was mainely breakaway croatian, serbian aristocracy + remnant aristocracy of byzantium and classical rome that formed the kingdom and gained legitimacy through marriage with kingdom of sicily and holy german empire monarchy.
Their church was known for its higher degree of religious freedom which in turn was despised by others and pointed at as a heresy, but culture still centered on faith, have a look at bosnian stecci.
It had known vlastela cavalry and archers with empashis on on guerilla tactics.
Focus on mountain action, economy running aroung mines and forests exploitation.
And again thank you for all your beautiful work!

My mods will always require Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm, @Grayam. If there is anything else required, a panel on the side of the mod will indicate whatever other DLC is needed. In this case it is just the two expansions.
Grayam 29 May, 2023 @ 5:42am
which DLC do i need to run this?
Strudeler of the Tart Society  [author] 14 May, 2023 @ 5:57am
Bosnia is the next of the Southern Slavs, but Slovenia is inevitable, @Tristan.Kalan.
