I think you are thinking of the outbound flight project, Thrawn destroyed that ship, it was sent through the unknown regions to reach the edge of the galaxy. Thrawn encountered and destroyed it and the Jedi aboard.

The "Dark Force" or Katana Fleet was found by Thrawn and it was made up of these dreadnaughts.

Did'nt Admiral Thawn hook up a bunch of these in one of the comic series to another vessel? is that what this ship is based off of? is a Legends ship? also, Subed
