Description
Essential Firearms
This mod adds lore friendly firearms I believe were missing from the core game.

All items have custom 3D models made by myself.

Firearms
Currently added firearms are:
  • Glock 17
  • USP Match
  • SPAS-12
  • Colt SAA

Features
  • All weapons accept relevant attachments.
  • The SPAS-12 features a functional, detachable, folding stock.
  • The SAA features .45LC ammunition.

Planned content
Planned firearms:
  • HK MP5
  • SVD-63

More custom attachments and a realistic reload cycle for the SAA to come in the future as well.

I wish the icons were a bit more polished so they look a bit more like the vanilla zomboid style and that the SAA model was a bit smaller. Apart from that, these guns are some nice additions to the game, good job!

Cool. This will probably be less buggy than some other firearm mods so I'll try this one out. Would you be keen to add a CAR-15 or perhaps some of those S&W third-gen metal guns everybody loved back in the 90s? I'll be content with the USP even if you don't

I'm currently working on the SAA. It features .45 LC ammunition. The SVD fires 7.62×54mmR, which is also not in the base game. The currently added firearms though, use base game munitions.

thank you. I've been looking for a not over-the-top gun mod, and since this doesn't mention specific ammos I'm assuming they use vanilla? Which would be really cool, cuz they'll work with my ammo crafting mod too! Tyty
