[REC] Gauntlet Mk.2 class gunship

The original Gauntlet class was a fantastic ship for its time. Well armed, nimble, and small enough to make production of them rather quick, it was a hard to dislike by it's crews and top brass. As with all things however, it got old, and Republic Navy high command began looking for a replacement craft. Whilst several prototype gunships were drafted and built to fill the void, nothing could really live up to the Gauntlet, so a modernization program began instead.

This modernization saw the ship's weapons payload drastically change, with more modern anti-fighter turrets being added, along with two quad-barreled railgun turrets, making the ship a dangerous adversary for even frigate sized ships. To top it all off, the ship retained it's jump capability, making it a very effective raider.

A/N: Yeah it's been a minute since I've uploaded. I'm not done with the game just yet, but my uploads are probably going to be few and far between for a while as I've lost quite a lot of interest in the game since warfare II*. But who knows, maybe Keen can make a miracle out of the next update...
