CRN F-157 Peregrine Superiority Fighter:

The CRN Peregrine Superiority Fighter is a new fangled design, meant to replace older Valkyrie Superiority Fighters, the peregrine fields unrivaled maneuverability with two guided missiles, two dumb bombs, and a HUD tracking script, the Peregrine also has external wing pylons for mounting other weapons, like rockets. The Peregrine also fields greater speed than most other fighters that the CRN fields, and with a compact design the Peregrine can fit almost anywhere. With a target lead indicator the peregrine is able to fight combatants more effectively.

Built in November 2554 the peregrine is the newest fighter design that the CRN fields, having state of the art avionics, and performance the Peregrine is an effective dogfighter without compare. Coming late to the second intergalactic war the Peregrine was only slightly combat tested. Fighting in multiple carrier fighter squadrons, one strike group was ambushed by remnant forces, the fighters managed to fight off multiple attacking remnant forces intercepting fighters, and bombers. During the fighters employment it managed a 10:1 ratio, for every 10 fighters shot down only one was lost. Fighting TLR, and allied ESA forces the Peregrine managed to aid in defense from assaulting forces. In the battle of Trelan a small expeditionary force was sent to defend the planet, equipped with 2 Forrestal class escort carriers, a small assortment of Warhammer classes, and a handful of peregrine fighter wings the force was out gunned and out manned by a larger attacking TLR, ESA force with almost a 10:1 ratio of ships, and fighters. The peregrine managed to hold off multiple fighter, and bomber assaults from the attacking force, with the Gen-2 Striker guided missiles the peregrine managed to destroy fighter after fighter, and severely hamper the attacking forces ranged capabilities, enabling fighter bombers to close in and deploy anti ship weapons, the Peregrine showed much prowess amongst its contemporaries in the galaxy, being able to out range any attacking fighter, and out maneuver them.

Authors Notes:

The Fighter works pretty well, not sure how survival capable it is, but it should be relatively cheap, the scripts are for missiles and certain "cosmetics" like radar, and artificial horizon. Otherwise enjoy!!
