Description
Vanilla | No Mods | Script | 2 DLC

Semi-automatic miner with adjustable drills and suspension. Can mine ore starting from the surface of the planet by making a puncture to the ore deposit at an angle of 45 degrees. Lifts in reverse from the mine to the surface a full load of cargo. Batteries can be charged both from the sun and from a hydrogen generator. Carrier - SE Pelican

Specification:

PCU: 2493
Blocks: 159
Weight: 25 700 kg
Cargo: 20.25 Kl (57 tn stone at x1 rate)
Size (LWH): 9 x 4.5 x 3.75 m

Suspension mode
Adjustable suspension and friction force allows you to switch the machine to the following states:

Rover - a regular rover that moves with the help of wheels. Used to move on the surface of the planet or moon

Hover - zero friction rover moving in 4 horizontal directions with the help of thrusters and a gyroscope. Used convenient for parking in the hangar

Miner - a rover with a suspension lowered forward, allowing you to start mining from the surface of the planet with a puncture to the ore deposit

All settings are switched from the #2 digital panel with 1-2 keys. The mode is displayed on the 3rd screen of the cockpit. Help is displayed on the 1st screen of the cockpit (see screenshot)

Mining
1. Find an ore deposit on the horizontal surface of the planet

2. Set the miner above it as close as possible and put a GPS point, determine the depth of occurrence using the ore detector and back away from the mark to the this distance

3. Switch to miner mode, turn on the drills and slowly move forward until the rover has collected enough rock to sink under the ground under its own weight

4. Turn on the rock drop through the connectors and wait until the rover reaches the deposit

P.S. if the rover leaves the right direction, then it can be directed into the process using a gyroscope or wheel steering. Elevation from the mine is provided by suspension and atmospheric thrusters.

Parking
When parking, the suspension is set to the lowest position, which ensures contact of the magnetic plate with the surface. In this case, the connectors go into connect mode, trying to connect with the receiving connector. When pressed again, the reverse procedure is performed - the magnetic plate is unhooked from the surface, all connectors are disconnected, and the suspension is brought to its highest position.

Parking mode is used when transporting a miner inside the ship's hangar, ensuring reliable docking with the carrier (see screenshot).

P.S. To enter the hangar, you can put the car into hover mode and use the thrusters and gyroscope to take the desired position. If there is not enough suspension grip to climb, use the thrusters to get on the ramp.

Jesus I took forever to reply, sorry.
Thanks for *your* reply at least.
What's the correct build/weld order because I've been playing with it for multiple years now, basically putting my own hot bar controls. As most of the hot bar configs don't work in survival for me :/

I just downloaded the miner from the workshop and checked it out. The EasyPlay control scenario works fine. The second program block is left empty in case you want to install another script, such as PAM.

Any chance you can add the compiled scripts to the description? Every time I try to paste it or build the blueprint one of the program blocks comes up as needing to be recompiled and empty :(
Thank you!

Thank you. There are many interesting things in the workshop. :)

My random searching on this glorious workshop has lead me to this ingenious contraption. I commend you!

I downloaded the miner from the workshop. Everything works. Check out the latest screenshot https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2889115095

how i control the truck? i found nothing into pad 2

Yes, there is such a problem when using the same ships. Grid refinement can be used to make the script work only for a specific miner.

Ah yes, thanks! I was not familiar with the easy scripts and was completely lost :)
The parking function is working great, I just had to tune it a little bit by renaming the Bottom connector + updating the custom data, as undocking from the base used to undock every single ship from the base :D
Survival Ready  [author] 25 Jun, 2022 @ 3:24pm
Right. The arguments to a program block are the names of the scenarios in its Custom Data.
