The torpedo's work the smoothest on high physics detail.

History

E-boat was the Western Allies' designation for the fast attack craft (German: Schnellboot, or S-Boot, meaning "fast boat") of the Kriegsmarine during World War II; E-boat could refer to a patrol craft from an armed motorboat to a large Torpedoboot.

The most popular, the S-100 class, were very seaworthy, heavily armed and capable of sustaining 43.5 knots (80.6 km/h; 50.1 mph), briefly accelerating to 48 knots (89 km/h; 55 mph). They were armed with torpedoes and Flak guns (one 37mm at the stern and at least one 20mm at the bow) plus machine guns; some had 40mm cannons.

These craft were 35 m (114 ft 10 in) long and 5.1 m (16 ft 9 in) in beam. Their diesel engines provided a range of 700 to 750 nmi (810–860 mi; 1,300–1,390 km), substantially greater than the gasoline-fueled American PT boats and British motor torpedo boats (MTBs).

As a result, the Royal Navy later developed better-matched MTBs, using the Fairmile 'D' hull design.

Features

  • Two reloadable torpedo tubes, four torpedo's total
  • 27000 liters of fuel
  • Full interior
  • One 3.7cm Flak, one 2cm nose cannon and one dual 2cm Flak
  • Cruise speed of 43 knots, top speed of 48 knots!

Startup

  • On the bridge, turn on your Batterie to your left.
  • Turn on your KraftstoffVentilen (Fuel valves)
  • Turn on your Motoren (engines)
  • Tap W/s to set your throttle!

How to reload the torpedo's

  • At the rear of the torpedo tube, press the Torpedoruhr button to open the tube.
  • On the torpedo rack, press the Torpedo losen button
  • Physically push the torpedo from the rear, untill you hear the *CLUNK* inside the tube. (It works better when the boat is stationary)
  • Close the torpedo tube. Its now ready to fire!

It still works! I sank a ocean liner with your torpedo boat, here is link to video https://youtu.be/gwTKQwCX3T8

Iirc infinite fuel also deals with air and exhaust. I could try more efficient air pumps. They have been messing with pressurisation/turbocharging for modular engines, it might influence standard engines as well

The problem is definitely with the fuel supply, because in infinity mode the engines run like clockwork. I allow myself the audacity to do something with the pumps, installing more powerful ones and increasing their number, but there is no result and the aesthetics are greatly deteriorating((

I could add bigger pumps. I havent tried that.

I suspect that the developers tweaked the ship's engine, making it very demanding on the amount of fuel, which simply does not have time to be pumped by the pumps

I have no clue what the issue is, i have changed virtually every input and it still persists. I have managed to improve it a little bit by changing screws.

Damnit, this is the second time i had to fix it. I will look into it soon
