Description
This mod allows Hive Minds to use the Chattel and Battle Thrall slavery policies, in addition to their existing Livestock option. It also allows Domestic Servitude for hives with the Empath civic.

Because Chattel and Battle Thrall can't work any drone jobs, I've also created new uncapped jobs for each. Dredger and Conscript can be used by any empire, ensuring that Chattel and Battle Thralls will never be unemployed. They are weaker versions of Miner and Soldier, the same way that Livestock is a weaker version of Farmer. Servant is on-par with Maintenance Drone, so I've locked it behind a civic rather than weakening the job for hives.

The Social Welfare living standard is now allowed for chattel and domestic servitude slavery types. It was super weird that even livestock could have this before, but not chattel or domestics.

Hives can now grant Decent Conditions and Social Welfare to their slaves. Doing so has an increased amenity cost of 5/10%, instead of a consumer goods cost of 0.05/0.1 like non-Gestalts (the tooltip does mention this now). In exchange, the added happiness means your slaves will produce less deviancy, and may even bump planet stability. A tiny amenity cost for a tiny deviancy reduction may seem mostly pointless, but it's an important role playing option I feel should exist.

Hives may now shut off population controls on non-hive species. This lets your enslaved pops grow and, like living standards, gives a small happiness boost that barely matters.


Obviously Devouring Swarms and Terravores can't use any of this because they can't enslave.

I love this mod! I use it for all my Hive minds. Could you please copy this mod for machine intelligences as well? Or add that to this mod? I'm not smart enough to figure out your coding and do that myself lol.

I really like the idea of this mod, and I hope you update it when you get the chance. It would be awesome if gestalt machines could use domestic servants too, since the whole "plug them into a battery" thing doesn't really fit my role playing idea, but neither does expelling them.

I really don't understand why HiveMinds can't grow Livestock without the use of mods. Makes it very boring to play.

100% do not use this until I update it for 3.12. It will definitely break jobs and pops.

Mod still works, though it seems to break game-start Individualistic Machines by preventing them from taking enforcer/soldier jobs.
