Description
*Please consult the Known Issues and QA sections before commenting, thanks.*

This mod adds the following units for all of the major Dwarf Factions:
-Gyrocopter (Drakegun)
-Gyrobomber (Hellblast Weapons)

They are not very different from vanilla Gyrocopters/Gyrobombers aside from their Incendiary Weapons.
You'll find them in the Dwarf Engineer building chain.

Ok, presentation over: let's dive into the technical stuff!

*BALANCE*
Statwise they are not very different from vanilla Gyrocopters/Gyrobombers so they should be vanilla friendly.
NOTICE: The units' stats screenshot was taken with the unit size setting set to large, so expect more HP and unit models if you are playing on Ultra.

*COMPATIBILITY*

As far as I know this mod works with pretty much everything that do not mess too much with vanilla units.
I'm playing the game with 100+ different mods and everything is working fine!
The mod is NOT save compatible.
If you want these Incendiary Gyros in your campaign you'll have to start a new one.

*KNOWN ISSUES*
-While I was snooping around other similar mods to compare them with my mod I stumbled upon this particular comment: "The tech that allows gyrocopters to fire and move bugs this unit. When you fire while moving with this unit the fire shoots in odd directions and freezes in time for the whole battle"-Kimplin.
Now I can't confirm this but considering the fact that Irondrakes aren't allowed to fire while moving too, makes me think that this Is a genuine bug report.
So if You don't want to bug out the Gyrocopter (Drakegun) I would suggest to avoid researching said tech or at very least to make a save state before researching said tech to confirm if said bug Is there or not.

*UPDATES POLICY*

Let me be straight with you...when the mod status change from updated to outdated....if you start to spam in the comment section things like "update pls, OMG UPDATE, can we have an update my good sir?, UpDaTe!1!1!1" and similar stuff....know that https://media.giphy.com/media/e3URFlLQywEPC/giphy.gif


...But jokes aside: please don't do that.
When it becomes necessary, and when I can, I will update my stuff, do not worry.

*QA*
-"Why should I choose this mod over other similar mods?"
You don't have to! Always stick with the one that You like the most!
But if I have to answer that I think that You should take in consideration the following:
A) Some of the other Incendiary Gyro mods are not up to date.
B) Some of the other Incendiary Gyro mods may not be very balanced.
C) Some of the other Incendiary Gyro mods give these units to both the Empire and the Dwarfs while this Is Dwarfs-only.
D) Most of the other Incendiary Gyro mods give you a Gyrocopter variant but not a Gyrobomber one!
-"So this Is going to be Dwarfs-only?"
Yup.
I can understand the attraction behind the idea of giving these kind of units to the Empire but from a lore prospective It doesn't make much sense to me.
Sure, Dwarfs and Humans are in friendly terms and the Dwarfs may trade some basic weapons every now and then but giving out the means of production of advanced war machines like the Gyrocopters/Gyrobombers?
Nah, not gonna happen if You ask me.
-"SFO?"
As a matter of fact I'm officially retired from SFO/Overhaul related mods.

I kinda think that this one might have become a lil redundant after WH3's vanilla Gyro rework and greenphoenix23's Lost & Found Dwarfs: Enhanced Flames.
Might port it anyway but definitely not now since I still need to finish updating my mods for Thrones of Decay, several of which are currently in a very broken state and will need additional time to be fixed.

No, I'm currently not planning to add any Gyro-related unit to the Empire anytime soon.
I may make some custom versions of the Cathaian Sky lantern/Sky-Junk modified to look like Empire units in game 3 but that's It.

Very nice mod. The Hellblaster Gyrobomber leads me to a question to you. Do you plan or think about doing a mod with special Gyrocopters or Gyrobomber types for the empire? I would appreciate such a mod and besides, it would seem to me logical if the empire would have something like that. :steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:
