Drevan Race (V63)

Hailing from the Northern Highlands, the Drevans are a race of Dragon like reptile people. They live their lives in a noble pursuit of honor and glory, willing to do great sacrifices in order to achieve their dreams. Many Drevan Heroes met their fate in battle, their houses being venerated and honored for ages. But many too engraved themselves in the shrine of history through great works.

• The Drevans are skilled with the tasks of management and administration.
  
• Drevans have natural armor and with their claws and sharp tail blades. Allows them to pack a strong punch in melee combat. Alongside this, Drevans are naturally brave. And are often times willing to charge ahead, making for great shock infantry.
  
• Clothing is considered an item of high value within Drevan culture, the more clothing a Drevan has. The happier they are.
  
• Drevan hatchlings take much longer to become children. With most hatchlings only taking their first steps out of the nest after 30 days.
  
• Drevans oppose greatly in seeing their fellow Drevans be enslaved, on the other hand. Freed Drevans will be greatly thankful for you in unshackling them from slavery. But Drevans care little if not at all in seeing you enslave other races.
  
• Because of their well developed bodies and natural endurance. Drevans are capable of surviving in both the cold and hot climates of the world.
  
• Drevans are relatively for the most part unfamiliar with the work of farming or mining. But they do have a good understanding of pastures and herding animals. Alongside that, their age old tradition of battle and war have made them decent weapons smiths.
  
• Drevans only worship the Temple of Drevania by default, and do not have any wants in associating themselves with other religions. Worshiping and building a temple of Drevania allows Xerces to bless you with stronger attack and defense stats, while Rosil will care and bless your nurseries.

Drevans were born from the coming of two Gods, Rosil, the Goddess of life and tranquility, and Xerces God of battle and strength. Xerces molded Drevans and gave them his scales, blade, and sharp claws. While Rosil gave them a piece of her heart and soul. So that they would be balanced.

Drevans lived under a life of devotion and duty to fulfill whatever path they choose in life. With many Drevans becoming legends in many crafts thanks to not only their long lasting lifespan, but also because of their unbreaking resolve to strive to be the best. This has made Drevan and Drevan culture to he highly respected by the other races of Syx.

In the time of the downfall of the Gods and great battle. The Drevans payed dearly for everything, despite their tenacity and unflinching resolve in battle, they were eventually beaten back to their capital. Where they too were also defeated, their great works and temples, homes, and many many of their people were ultimately lost. And Drevan kind payed a hefty price after the war, almost 80% of all Drevans had died. Great works lost, and generations forgotten amongst the rubble and fire. Then was swept away by the coming ice age. In the great rift between all the death of the Gods, and the eventual betrayal of the evil lord. Rosil and Xerces seemingly vanished without a trace, leaving the weakened and crippled Drevans to face the future... alone.

But they never faltered in their faith...

hoping that one day, they would return to save them. Old relics and ancient artifacts of the Drevans are rumored to still be somewhere in the world. Hidden away in secret vaults by long dead clans.

Now that the time of a new age has arrived. The Drevans despite everything that has happened and befell them in the past. Will no longer and stand to hide away and die in the darkness, weather Rosil or Xerces are still alive somewhere or not, the Drevans with do everything in their power to achieve what was lost. To bring back the forgotten pasts of their once great race.
