Part Crane mk 1 Folding

A light duty self folding crane. Bonus feature is a light near the end for visibility.

Test weight mass 400.

The double base has a horizontal throttle for 180 degree rotation. The two vertical throttles control the "shoulder" and "elbow". The distance in and out is adjusted by changing those two joints. The winch is then lowered to grab an object. Takes a bit of practice. The main advantage is that it stows in a small folding package. After use remember to bring throttles back to the stored position. Notes on the throttle list the sample storage positions.

This one was built to tuck away on a boat's starboard stern. In that position the operator would face the stern and the crane is in line with the outermost starboard railing.

For your own design you can tweak the three throttle starting positions. The crane needs to be powered on when spawned for the motors to seek out that position.

The control system is compatible with the other anchors in my Steam workshop. The one loaded is a "shaft" design of inline blocks for winches vs the wider anchors options.

When copying be sure to copy the microcontrollers on the back of the control stand. Once placed in your design hookup power to the back side of the circuit breaker on the bottom of the stand.
